Why IV Hydration Therapy??
Here Are The Basics....
Intravenous therapy is a medical treatment that entails infusing fluids and nutrients right into a person's veins using a sterile catheter. IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, & medications directly into the vascular system, allowing for 100% bioavailability & quick results. Hydration therapy is used to treat dehydration (related to illness or heat exposure), vitamin deficiencies, energy improvement, and mental clarity. IV therapy can also be beneficial for migraines/headaches, weight loss, hangover recovery, pre-performance and post-activity recovery.
So Why Use IV Therapy?
Our blends (sourced from an FDA regulated compounding pharmacy) of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and IV fluids are infused directly into the bloodstream, giving your cells rapid access to the nutrients required for optimal body function.
When taken orally, you can lose up to 80% of the vitamin’s nutritional value. In order for PO nutrients to reach the cell and work effectively, they must be absorbed through the GI tract. Many people suffer from vitamin deficiencies because they are unable to absorb nutrients in adequate amounts. Using the IV or IM route, we can bypass this issue & deliver the vitamins & nutrients the body needs to function at full capacity.
What to Expect?
First, you will consult with a staff member to complete a brief overview of your health history, wellness goals, & options for therapy. Once the right treatment pathway has been identified, you will have IV fluids administered via drip, performed and monitored by a trained professional. There are very few side effects & no post-infusion restrictions to activity.
Small bags can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, while larger volumes require 45 min to 90 min depending on size of veins and rate of administration. You may take a nap, read, bring your tablet and headphones to watch movies and relax while your body and cells are infused with vitamins and nutrients.
